Part 2 of a series of DJ mixes created for openings at Space Gallery in San Francisco. As usual i like to experiment, and in our fast paced and attention deficit days i thought that the place no DJ goes is long songs. This mix lets them roll and culminates in a full 20 plus minute track.
digimix is a collection of some favorite songs from around 2003 - 2004 or thereabouts. focus is on selection and flow, minimally mixed w/ minor edits and additions. 67 min of electrophonic goodness.

This is a dj set i put together for an art opening at Space Gallery in SF. Since it was for an art gallery i figured i could get experimental, which is usually my want when dj’ing. The goal of this set was to include as much synth pioneer / avant garde music as possible while still keeping it kinda groovy. I think it turned out pretty cool and people seemed to dig it.
contents:
Pauline Oliveros, John Williams, Bruce Haack, Edgar Varese, Boards of Canada, Philip Glass, Kraftwerk, Meat beat Manifesto, Rosemary Brown, H. Badings, Like A Tim, Dick Hymen, Solvent, Tomita
the other day i was chatting with my good friend Sonik, and he sends me this file.. turns out its a mix he did of old UpliNk tunes with his own music and fortified with extra funk!
what we got is one slammin mashed up mega mix of bass heavy tech goodness!!!
