these are from a few years back and currently reside with my brother. i got a chance to take some pics of them recently, so i decided to put them up here. the top 2 are acrylic on wood, and the bottom is acrylic and pen on stickers on the top of an old cd player, mounted to wood.

Space Gallery, Friday Sept. 12th 2008, San Francisco
the show went off fantastically! this was my first show and im very pleased with how it turned out! i didn’t end up with many crowd pictures, but we had a really good turnout! the place was packed for most of the night and i think everyone had a pretty good time! i received many compliments on the work and even sold several pieces! Wyatt Gurp, Cyndi Looper and Sean Julian dj’d providing great music all evening. such a fun time!
the paintings were all done over the last 3 years with several being very recent. they are all acrylic on wood or canvas. the drawings were done with colored markers on paper and mounted on black matte board.
i included some of my circuit bent stuff which people were really intrigued by. i had set them up so that you could try them out, but i should have brought headphones as it got too loud to hear them over the talking and music. the exception to this was my Casio ct680 that i had on a stand with headphones. since they were open for everyone to check out i tried to pick pretty simple stuff that wouldn’t lock up or become unplayable easily. i will follow up on these with some individual posts.
we also created plush character pillows which were a collaboration between myself, Chris A and Shane York.
upstairs in the back there was a merchandise table with t-shirts silk screened by Chris A and buttons i made based on the marker drawings. t-shirts are still available.

recently i came across catsynth.. pics of cats and synthesizers! it reminded me of these pictures i had, so i thought i would post them..
this is cute little matilda relaxing on the cz101. she belongs to HQ and i had the pleasure of sharing her company for about a year.
in the background is paia / blacet modular, oberheim matrix 6r, digitech rds8000 & quad 4, paia fatman & vocoder.
she seemed to like the casios..
again on the cz101 in an earlier studio arrangement. pro one in background.
